Several institutions collaborate with and support the eCentre in the delivery of its annual programme of activities. These organizations bring a variety of strengths to the eCentre’s programme, including practical field experience and application, creative problem solving approaches, interactive training design and implementation and academic rigor and expertise.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) is the eCentre’s parent organization, providing oversight, monitoring and evaluation, and financing through a special project administered by UNHCR’s Division of Emergency, Security and Supply (DESS) in Geneva, Switzerland. UNHCR also supports the eCentre’s training activities by providing depth and reach-back capability in resourcing experts from UNHCR and partner organizations around the world, who provide expertise tailored to the specific needs of individual courses and audiences.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, In 2000, MoFA Japan contributed to the genesis of the eCentre through a generous contribution made through the Trust Fund for Human Security. Even after the completion of Trust Fund for Human Security, MoFA remains as the eCentre's strong partner and continuously funding eCentre since 2008.
The Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) is the Australian Government agency responsible for managing Australia's overseas aid program. Since 2008, AusAID has supported eCentre activities through a financial contribution.
The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) collaborates with the eCentre and supports UNHCR in the delivery of the eCentre's annual programme. The eCentre-JICA partnership allows UNHCR to share its experience working in remote and unstable areas while broadening the training dialogue by bringing lessons from JICA’s rich development experience.
InterWorks LLC , is a private consulting firm specializing in international training in disaster and emergency management. It assists the eCentre in curriculum design, development of content for courses, provision of professional facilitators and implementation and delivery of training activities.
RedR Australia (Registered Engineers for Disaster Relief) assists in curriculum design and provides expert trainers in support of the eCentre’s training activities.
the University of Wisconsin - Disaster Management Center (UW-DMC) , provides advice and contributions to the concept and design of the eCentre’s course curricula. It further administers the certification and accreditation of distance learning courses available through the eCentre website.
The United Nations University (UNU) provides the eCentre’s website hosting and specialized academic expertise for eCentre activities as needed.
