Organizational Profile:
APANAC - initially named Asia Pacific NPO Assistance Club - was founded in
March 1999 and received legal entity as Non-Profit Organisation from the
Economic Planning Agency of the Government of Japan in October 1999. APANAC’s
main objective is to provide the non-profit and non-governmental organisations
with administrative and consultative assistance regarding overall management
issues. Services provided so far have included: outlining articles of
organisations, specifying guidelines of accounting issues, conducting seminars
and workshops in connection with improvement of transparency and
accountability of the overall activities of NGOs and NPOs.
