Benfield Hazard Research
Centre is a multidisciplinary academic hazard research centre.
BHRC comprises three groups: Geological Hazards, Meteorological Hazards & Seasonal
Forecasting, and Disaster Studies & Management. The Centre is based
at University College London.
The Benfield
Hazard Research Centre provides a conduit for the transfer
of natural hazard and risk research, practice, and innovation
from the academic
environment to the business world and government and international
agencies. Through the application of new research and practice,
the Centre facilitates
the improvement of natural hazard and risk assessment and
the reduction of exposure to natural catastrophes.

EuronAid
was created in 1980 as an association of NG0s, to be active in the field of
food security and food aid. A EuronAid goal is to enable NG0s to deliver
high quality food security and food aid programs for the people they seek
to assist.The EuronAid services comprise: Support in programming, accounting and
financial administration; Procurement of food and other commodities;
Logistics, including a door-to-door transport system, General and specific
information and training; Training on the application of Project Cycle
Management (PCM) for food-aid, food-security and emergency-aid programmes.

consists of information on EuronAid policies, preparation of project
proposal and implementation of a program through EuronAid. Information on
emergency management, coordination, logistics, and procurement are

Commission provides evaluation of EC Food Aid Programs, and in the
future will provide information on Food Security Programs and technical

Zealand Digital Library project is a research programme at The University
of Waikato whose aim is to develop the underlying technology for digital
