Food Aid
Management (FAM) was created in 1989 by five U.S. private voluntary
organizations to "promote the efficient and effective use of food aid
resources to help alleviate hunger and contribute to food security".
The FAM membership has grown to 17 U.S. PVOs and FAM enjoys observer status
with the World Food Programme and EuronAid.

Global Internally Displaced Persons
Project

Global IDP Project brings facts, figures and analysis on IDPs worldwide
into one integrated information system.

provides access to Global IDP Database, which can be searched by
country or keyword. Wide range of information including:
population profiles, causes and protection concerns, humanitarian access,
subsistence concerns (health, nutrition, water, sanitation, and shelter),
and access to education. Downloadable Training modules that are based on the UN OCHA
document: Guiding Principles on Internal Displacement and include
