The Global IDP Project brings facts, figures and analysis on IDPs worldwide into one integrated information system.

Website provides access to Global IDP Database, which can be searched by country or keyword.  Wide range of information including: population profiles, causes and protection concerns, humanitarian access, subsistence concerns (health, nutrition, water, sanitation, and shelter), and access to education.  Downloadable Training modules that are based on the UN OCHA document: Guiding Principles on Internal Displacement and include themes such as protection, ethics, coordination, and community services.  Publications, weekly news, and a IDP links page are also on the site.

Human Rights Library (The University of Minnesota Human Rights Center)

The Humanitarianism and War Project

The Humanitarianism and War Project reviews the experience of the international community in responding to complex emergencies around the world during the post-Cold War period. It examines the interplay between humanitarian action and political-military forces. Relying primarily on the data gathered from interviews with those involved in crises, it frames recommendations to improve the functioning of the world's humanitarian system.

INCORE: Initiative on Conflict Resolution and Ethnicity

INCORE aims to address the management and resolution of conflict via a combination of research, training and other activities that inform and influence national and international organizations working in the field of conflict.

Website offers information about INCORE, research activities, and the following.

The information bank contains links to papers, journals, reports, academic programs, trainings, organizations, and institutes that work with issues dealing with conflict and ethnicity. To access the databases, use the country guides or thematicguides. The thematic guide, for example, can get Internet resources for refugees (among other themes).
