Based in Washington, D.C., RI was founded in 1979 with the objective of providing early warning in cases of mass migration.

The web site provides information on refugees and refugee issues.  Issues can be found on the top tool bar and includes: early warning, emergency relief, protection, refugee women’s issues, internally displaced persons, and building local capacity. Information can also be viewed by country.  Access to RI articles and Bulletin (by country) is also available on the left side of the home page.

The Goal of the Reproductive Health for Refugees Consortium is to increase access to a broad range of quality, voluntary reproductive health services to refugees and displaced persons around the world.

Scalabrini Migration Center (SMC)

The SMC is a non-profit research institute established in 1987 and based in Quezon City, Philippines. SMC is dedicated to encourage and facilitate the study of socio-demographic, economic, political, psychological, historical, legislative and religious aspects of human migration and refugee movements from and within Asia.

Website includes information about SMC, Data on Asian Migration (by country), a Directory of NGOs for Migrant Workersin Asia (by country), and Asian Migration News (bi-weekly updates). The website also contains subscription information and table of contents for two SMC journals: Asian Migrant (yearly) and Asian and Pacific Migration (quarterly). Asian Migrant is specifically targeted toward field workers, activists, NGO associates, and researchers; and often contains articles on area refugee populations.  A library catalog will also be available online in the future.

Search issues for topics like internally displaced persons, women and children, and protection.
