information on refugees and refugee issues. Issues can be found on

Scalabrini Migration Center (SMC)

The SMC is a
non-profit research institute established in 1987 and based in Quezon City,
Philippines. SMC is dedicated to encourage and facilitate the study of
socio-demographic, economic, political, psychological, historical,
legislative and religious aspects of human migration and refugee movements
from and within Asia.

information about SMC, Data on Asian Migration
(by country), a Directory of NGOs for Migrant Workersin Asia (by
country), and Asian Migration News (bi-weekly updates). The website
also contains subscription information and table of contents for two SMC
journals: Asian
Migrant (yearly) and Asian and Pacific Migration (quarterly). Asian
Migrant is specifically targeted toward field workers, activists, NGO
associates, and researchers; and often contains articles on area refugee
populations. A library catalog will also be available online in the
future.

is one of the world's largest partnerships working to secure the rights of
children. Save the Children works with Health and Nutrition,
